Nerdgasm was founded on the 30th of January, 2009 by Scott Cairney, a sixteen year old with a mix of no social life and an Xbox 360 with RROD. The aim of the site was so Cairney could express himself through the medium of rant based articles and to attempt to entertain his friends. But with no actual aim it all got a bit monotonous. As a result Cairney decide to do a whole relaunch as he believed that the site wasn’t worthy of claiming to be geeky. Through this new relaunch not only was there a change to the websites look but also the websites aim. We must be interesting, informative and geek worthy, by these rules our articles can’t be some pathetic personal wine, they must contain information that could be of use and they must be to a satisfactory level of nerdy-ness.
